Take the driver’s seat in a Power Wheels Car, race your favorite Hot Wheels or ride the sensory slide in Mattel Park! Thanks to the folks at Mattel, on May 3, 2008, Junior Blind’s students and families had the chance to do just that as part of this year’s “Big Sunday,” the largest annual citywide community service event in America. Not only did Mattel donate some of their coolest cars, their wonderful employees also volunteered to run the day’s activities, making it a great time for more than 100 of our children who are blind, visually impaired or multi-disabled and their family members.
