Physical Therapist (Part-Time)

Junior Blind's Special Education School provides the best possible services to its students. To continue in this goal, the Physical Therapist evaluates and provides physical therapy services to our students. You will work collaboratively with school staff to integrate therapy into classroom and school activities, develop and re-evaluate student individual physical therapy plans on a regular basis and provide ongoing assessment/data collection of the effectiveness of the individual therapy plan.

You will also be responsible for providing present level student performance for use in Individual Education Plan (IEP) committees, attend IEP meetings as necessary, and communicate effectively with the educational team, parents, and other professionals. You will also participate in school-wide activities, provide staff training and prepare or secure materials and adaptive equipment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university.
  • Must possess and maintain a current and valid license issued by the Physical Therapy Board of California to practice physical therapy.
