Medical

The Position:
Registered Nurse (Monday – Friday, 1:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.)

Junior Blind's medical team ensures our medical services are maintained at the highest levels. As a Registered Nurse, you will prepare and administer medications, notify student's attending/alternate physician, as well as the student's legal guardian/representative, when the student becomes ill or injured. You will develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-department personnel and departments to assure the medical services and activities can be properly maintained to meet the needs of the students.

You will also be responsible in developing and maintaining nursing and living skills objectives and standards. You will assure that department personnel, students, and visitors follow established policies and procedures to include safety rules and regulations.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved RN program.
• Must possess and maintain a current California RN license.
• Must possess and maintain current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Training and experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility or other related medical facility.
