Please join us at Blind Babies Foundation’s 12th Annual Walk in Their Shoes on Saturday, October 7 at Happy Trails Riding Academy! Bring the family for a fun day of experiencing activities and challenges simulating what it is like to be blind or visually impaired. Whether you choose to meet the challenges as an individual or a team, you’ll have the opportunity have fun and help give back to the community by raising funds for Blind Babies Foundation.
For one day, experience a world without sight. Participants maneuver a sensory walking trail blind-folded or wearing visual impairment simulation glasses. Sighted and visually impaired guides will help VIPs navigate the course, maneuvering across uneven surfaces. Activities along the route provide a truly unique sense of accomplishment and a new appreciation for those who are blind or visually impaired.
All walkers are asked to raise a suggested $100 per person and may participate individually or as part of a corporate team, family team, a team of friends or as a delegation from a church or community group.
Stick around after the walk for harvest party activities, including a petting farm, pumpkin patch, cookie cake walk, and more!
Can't make it to the event? Join us as a virtual walker, instead!
